This study aimed to use geotchnologies to the mapping of land use and cover in the Rio Pardo - SP Watershed, in addition to map, identify, qualify, and quantify the land use conflicts in permanent preservation areas (PPA) the conflict of use in permanent protection areas. The study area makes border with the municipalities Pardinho and Botucatu, occupies an area of 153.71km2 . It was used digital satellite thematics images from HRC High Resolution Camera /CBERS-2B, with resolution of 2,7 meters. The land use map was generated from the screen classification, with overlay; the PPA had been made in the Autodesk Map to generate the buffer of 30m for each side of all draining net; the map of land use conflict areas in the PPA was carried through by the overlapping of the land use and covering map with the PPA map. With the mapping of land use conflict areas found that over 50% of the area is under human activities, and it was developed in areas legally protected by environmental legislation. The study area is predominantly occupied by classes of use with agriculture and pastures, consequently in terms of the conversion of natural habitats to agricultural areas, pastures or urban areas, have been considered the main form of environmental impact resulting from human activities.
